Anaconda-Deer Lodge County partners with local non-profit organizations to promote and collect recycling throughout the year. Proceeds from eligible recycling (aluminum beverage cans, corrugated cardboard, and metals) brought to the landfill benefit our recycling partner during their term. This year's partners are AHS HOSA (Jan 2023) and:
Feb-March: | AOH | Aug-Sept: | Anaconda Trail Society |
April-May: | Anaconda Coalition for Tolerance Education | Oct-Nov: | AHS Music Program |
June-July: | Project Care | Dec 2023- Jan 2024: | AHS Student Council |
Please have your disposal materials sorted into the categories Class III, Compost, and Recyclable metals. These wastes are characterized by their general inert nature and low potential for adverse environmental impacts.
Find information about the Butte-Silver Bow Landfill through the Resource Directory.
Customers dropping off larger items, must be able to unload items without assistance from landfill staff.
All items brought to the landfill may be accepted or rejected at the Landfill Managers discretion.
