Mission Statement
Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Department is a dynamic, progressive and professional organization dedicated to promoting public safety and developing and maintaining strong community partnerships. We act with integrity to reduce crime and the fear of crime and to protect lives and property while ensuring the rights of all people. Our officers are dedicated to the services they provide, and their actions reflect pride in the department and the community. In partnership with the community, the department strives to enhance the quality of life in the community.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Department of Law Enforcement proudly serves the City-County of Anaconda-Deer Lodge 24 hours a day / 365 days a year. We are committed to delivering professional police services to the citizens, businesses, and visitors of Anaconda-Deer Lodge County. The Department of Law Enforcement consists of three departments:
- 911 Dispatch - provides essential emergency and non-emergency dispatch and communications services to City-County law enforcement, fire departments, and Emergency Medical Services.
- Detention - operates and maintains a safe and secure environment for the housing of inmates placed under our care in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Law Enforcement - responsible for the safety of the residents as well as enforcing laws and ordinances
