Women, Infants & Children

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education.  These benefits are available for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Visit the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Public Health Department Tuesday and Thursday for WIC services. We also provide lactation education.  Please contact the Public Health Office at 406-563-7863 for more information on WIC services.
