Duties

The Water Department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the water utility system of Anaconda-Deer Lodge County. This includes the maintenance and operation of:

  • Chlorination Equipment
  • Distribution Mains
  • Equipment
  • Meters
  • Pumping Stations
  • Transmission Mains

Services

Services provided by the Water Department include:

  • Checking meters and valves
  • Connecting new properties
  • Documenting property owner changes
  • Publishing the consumer confidence report
  • Turning water off and on
